When comes the philosophy, the rotation takes place - in the history of human thought - two concepts: moving from "poiesis" what is "saphes" (= bright). Poiesis is the creation of man, his active intervention that creates the story of reality "saphes" is instead what shows itself in the eyes of the man who passively receives what he refers to the reality, reality itself that is thus found with 'is. The fundamental difference in these two human acts is that the former is ruled out universality: every person, every culture, intervenes to define subjectively order of the cosmos and images that do not coincide with those of other men and other cultures. In the field of "poiesis" human action is free and varied, while in the field of "saphes" is really to take root, and men are given only to take note of what shows itself, eliminating any subjective element. Thus emerges the reality stripped of its veil, as it is available to the universal understanding.
